Creamy Italian Soup

I might as well call this Toscana Soup with some additions but will name it differently because I have a Toscana recipe already.  This one has fresh asparagus and mushrooms that make it a little different. Guess it is a creamy mushroom, asparagus toscana soup...

Warm & Cozy Comforter Set

Today I'm sharing a new Winter Bedding Collection.  We put this on right after the painting was done.  We kept the Christmas quilt on the bed for way to long but knew it was thin and washable should paint happen to find it's way on it.  It didn't though the painters were pretty good about that.

A Beautiful Light Snow!

This was a couple of days ago and was just enough to coat the lawn lightly.  It truly was beautiful and Chuck was off and home for the first time to see the snow fall out here.  He is usually working when it does happen to snow, which isn't too often.  We did enjoy it very much together.  Today I share a few pictures and a video of our view from here.

Painting the Master Bedroom and Closet

Earl, Darrell and Wendell

Earl played baseball for a few well known teams and has been a painter for years like his family.  Darrell tells me he has been a maintenance man with Shaw Air Force Base, worked for The Department of Transportation with schools and also has done vinyl siding and carpentry work. Wendell played football, was a cook/chef in restaurants as a Grill master for 15 years! I told him we should have had him cooking us some steaks up on those grills in the back yard. Heaven knows Darrell lucked up because had I known all of this time he was a carpenter, let's just say he would have been much more busy!
They are talking on the front porch that they painted so beautifully. Today I'm sharing the painting of our master bedroom and my closet.

Who's Digging in the Dirt?

Tomatoes

Good morning and how are you?  Fine I hope.  Today my thoughts are on growing something.  The weather here is undoubtedly strange this year.  The temperature predictions for today will be in the 80s!  Actual prediction high 86 degrees!  I think I'll hold off on planting some things because if history can be taken into account we will have a cold snap.  Talking gardening today.
